Located in Big Bear Lake, California is operated by the New Jersey
Institute of Technology (NJIT). Our main interest is the physics
of the Sun and we observe solar phenomena with our dedicated telescopes
and instruments.

The Magic Mountain Recreation Area at Big Bear Lake, home of the
world-famous Alpine Slide, offers Family fun activities year round.
In the summer there is a cool wet water slide and in the winter
there is plenty of fun snowplay for the whole family.

Bear Lake International Film Festival
The Big Bear Lake International Film Festival is a non-profit organization
dedicated to showcasing emerging screenwriters, film talent and
independent films. Their goal is to create a forum by bringing upcoming
filmmakers and industry professionals together, staged in the Big
Bear Lake Community.
